Dr. Matthew Laski (Dentist)

Dr. Matthew Laski was born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario. After graduating with an Honours Specialization in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, he went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery, with Distinction, in 2012 from The Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. After 8 years in London, Ontario, Matthew finally moved back home to Toronto to begin his professional career. Dentistry must be in his genes, both his father and brother are practicing dentist in the Greater Toronto Area.

Dr. Laski and his wife Sarah were married in July 2013 and right away they moved into the neighbourhood of Wychwood Dental. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys cooking, spending time with family and playing numerous sports, including golf, basketball, baseball, tennis and skiing.

Dr. Laski enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, stays up to date on the latest technology and techniques and strives to provide his patients with the best care possible. Dr. Laski also enjoys participating in numerous study clubs, dental associations and attending continuing education courses.

Dr. Marym Abdelmaseh

Dr. Marym Abdelmaseh grew up in Markham, Ontario and knew from a young age she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. As she was exploring different career options, the interplay between science and art drew her to the dental world. She pursued an Honours Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, and then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry. While there, Dr. Marym was selected for a senior honours program in special patient care providing advanced training in the management of patients with physical, mental, and medical disabilities. Following graduation, she completed a general practice residency at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY to further advance her clinical training.

Dr. Marym feels privileged to be able to draw on her experiences serving a wide array of demographics throughout her training. She enjoys many aspects of general dentistry and is always striving to gain new skills and stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry through participation in many continuing education courses and study clubs.

When she’s not working, Dr. Marym is spending time with her husband, Mena. They enjoy going for walks, exploring new restaurants, and travelling. She also likes working out and has most recently started enjoying spin classes.

Dr. Ben Edelstein

Meet Dr. Ben Edelstein! Born and raised in Thornhill, Dr. Ben has traveled far and wide to learn the art of dentistry. He spent some time down under in Australia, where he picked up a few tricks and a love for vegemite (just kidding, he still thinks it tastes like toothpaste).
When he's not busy keeping teeth in tip-top shape, Dr. Ben loves to stay active. You can often find him cycling around town on weekends or hitting the gym for a good workout. And when he's really feeling adventurous, he hops on a plane and sets off on a new travel adventure.
But don't let his love for fun fool you - Dr. Ben is serious about providing top-notch dental care to his patients. He's always staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in the field, so you can be sure you're getting the best care possible.
